The Zebra ZD621 series is a high-performance desktop label printer range designed to provide reliable, professional-quality label printing across a wide variety of industries. Built as an upgrade to the popular GK and ZD500 series, the ZD621 combines modern connectivity, improved usability and advanced print technology in a compact desktop format.

Available as both direct thermal and thermal transfer models, the Zebra ZD621 supports printing for shipping labels, barcode labels, product labels, asset labels, healthcare wristbands and retail shelf-edge labels. Thermal transfer models allow long-lasting, durable printing using ribbon, while direct thermal models provide a simple, low-maintenance solution for short-life labels.

The ZD621 is engineered for demanding business environments, offering print speeds up to 8 inches per second and print widths up to 104 mm. Businesses can choose between standard 203 dpi resolution or optional 300 dpi resolution for smaller text, detailed graphics and high-density barcode printing.

Connectivity options include USB 2.0, USB Host, Serial and Ethernet as standard, with optional Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity available for flexible integration into existing systems. The printer also supports Zebra’s ZPL II and EPL2 programming languages, making it compatible with many existing Zebra printer installations and software systems.

For ease of operation, selected models feature a full-colour 4.3 inch touch display with intuitive controls, while Zebra’s OpenACCESS design simplifies media and ribbon loading. The printer supports a wide range of media types including die-cut labels, continuous labels, tags, receipt paper and wristbands.

Specialist versions are also available, including healthcare-ready models with disinfectant-resistant housing and RFID-enabled models capable of printing and encoding RFID labels. RFID models support UHF EPC Gen 2 V2.1, ISO/IEC 18000-63 and RAIN RFID protocols for advanced tracking applications.

The Zebra ZD621 is compatible with a wide selection of label sizes and materials, supporting roll-fed and fan-fold media with a maximum outer roll diameter of 5 inches. Optional accessories include cutters, peelers, wireless modules, battery packs and carrying cases to adapt the printer for mobile or specialist workflows.
