Direct Thermal Labels for the AIMO D520BT
The AIMO D520BT is a direct thermal-only printer and must be used with heat-sensitive direct thermal labels. It cannot print onto ordinary thermal transfer labels.
Direct thermal printing does not require ink, toner or a thermal transfer ribbon. Heat from the printer’s printhead reacts with the coated surface of the label to create the printed text, barcode or image.

The overall media width includes both the label and its backing paper. As the backing paper is normally slightly wider than the label itself, you should measure the complete roll width rather than only the label.
The printable portion of the label must fit within the printer’s maximum 108mm print width, even though the printer can accept backing paper up to 115mm wide.
