Paper Thermal Transfer Labels for the iDPRT iT888
Our paper thermal transfer labels are compatible with the iDPRT iT888 label printer and provide an economical solution for producing clear, reliable barcodes, text and graphics.
Unlike direct thermal labels, thermal transfer labels require a ribbon. Heat from the printhead transfers ink from the ribbon onto the label surface, producing print that offers good resistance to handling, abrasion and environmental exposure.
The iT888 accepts media widths between 25mm and 118mm, including the label and backing paper. The maximum media width for this category is 118mm.

- Barcode and QR code labels
- Product identification
- Stock and inventory control
- Warehouse and shelf labels
- Retail and price labels

Choosing a Thermal Transfer Ribbon
Paper thermal transfer labels are normally printed using a wax ribbon, which provides good print quality and represents an economical choice for general-purpose labelling. A compatible wax-resin ribbon can be used when greater resistance to rubbing, scratching or handling is required.
The ribbon must be wider than the labels and their backing paper while remaining within the ribbon-width capacity of the printer. Always confirm that the selected ribbon is suitable for the label material before printing.
